weekend in review...
friday: went to the movies with eriKa. we saw euroTrip. it was surpsiringly very good and funny. i enjoyed it a lot. i liked it. it was good. it was funny. i laughed, especially at the the little german boy immitating hitler's march. it was funny. it was good. i liked. though it was so fake (the kid leaves for europe and his parents never realized it? i don't think so. not even americans are that stupid). the best part is the sountrack, which i actually bought the next day (scotty doesn't know...lalalala...right behind you thursting...lalalala). there was nothing going on party-wise, so it was a night after that, for the most part.
saturday: woke up early, 11amish, because me and alex were going downtown (which is something nobody else seems to enjoy but us). went to eat at bartlett (french fries and pepsi, a healthy breakfast) to go downtown. we got on the 55 bus, using are magical chicago card pluses, and then the red line (Again, with the CCP). first stop was carson prieir scott, a store that is obviously boring, but alex wanted to buy a new book bag, so she bought one from gucci. then we went to other stores like nordstrom's. i was at nordstrom's and then i called sinem to find out someting and it turned out she like 100 feet away from me in the same place. whacked. after that i went to emporio armani bought amanda birthday present. then i made alex come to the LEGO store with me. we were there for about an hour. i spelled out "ich möchte LEGO" (I would like LEGO, because i wanted to use an umlated U, and "i like LEGO" would be "ich mag LEGO"). alex then said "shouldnt it be LEGOs?" and i bitched her out, explaining how the plural of LEGO is NEVER LEGOs. it is always either LEGO or LEGO Bricks. then went to the other normal stores to find ways to spend my parents money...abercrombie, bloomingdales, diesel, urban outiftters, mcdonald's (FOR GOOD FOOD!) and at urban i got a shirt that says "Tijuana: City of Tomorrow". it is ironic (or is it not, alex?). then we got back. we had max palevsky olympics to go to. i ran the the track in approx. 33 seconds. that was fast. it didnt count for anything. i mostly helped run our "sporintg" even booth, though i spent most of the time getting high off whip cream bottles. then after that i went with phil and rico and others to the fiji party. it was supposed to be a good party, fiji parties are ALWAYS good. but it was borken up by the cops. that never happens, with the one excpetion: if there are too many non-uChi students. this saturday evening there were a little to many hot...err...i mean high school girls, so it was shut down by 1.30am. what to do? well, we went to graham house. then some people went back. then some other people, including me, went to dunkin dounts. then me/phil/dc went to pierce saw ceyda/anita/girl then me/phil went back at 4.30am and went to sleep.
sunday: what a beautiful day. too bad i woke up for it at 1.47pm. went to alex's room, was like "lets go outside". she was like "im down yo!". i wanted to skateboard, but, to my avail, there was no skateboard available at this moment. walked around outside, got a bagel at einsteins, and we walked around...stopped at borders...alex's pink bouncy ball bounced into a busy street. somehow, i dont how (well, i do, actually) we (more me than Alex) recovered it....also walked all the way to the point. it was a gorgeous day...61 degrees F. it was awesome. alex allitereated (and I quote) that "luscious days long for leap years" she went on to explain how because it is a leap year, the day was not supposed to exist, so, therefore, it is a non-existant way in whihc the weather was gorgeous. i wore jeans, sandals, and a t-shirt. and then, at just about midnight, it started to rain. go alex. then we went back, got some bartlett-to-go, and watched the oscars with about 20 others in the house lounge.
now its bed time...
