Today was the miami study break. it was really good. people at the food, and guava paste is the new strawberry cream cheese over at rickert house. i also used the word ardous to describe the process of putting large bowls in the sink.
Imagine if you will, a bus.
The bus has 30 rows of seats.
On this particular Thursday morning, there are 29 people on the bus, each with their own row. The bus stops, and a 30th gets on. Submitted for your approval is the story of the 30th man that gets on the bus of 30 rows and 29 people. Does he take the empty row? No, he sits next to you. Impossible? Improbable? Anything can happen. You are entering...the Twlight Zone.

You are Paris - You are the center of attention,
but contrary to popular belief, the world does
not revolve around you. The epitome of trendy,
you are the ideal of some and the joke of
others. Though you may have unique tastes,
looks, beliefs, goals, and opinions, if you are
not careful you can still slip into mediocrity.
Chances are: none of your friends really like

blogs are typically for loosers, but at this school, no. everybody has a blog, even non-loosers. being a follower, i have one. i dont right personal private things in it. thats stupid. i just write stuff that i did once in a while and other stuff that makes no sense like this stuff right here. ive done a bad job of calling my friends from back home (all of them, not just you). not cool of me. i'm always like "ill call xx tonight", but by the time i have time, im in bed or its 1AM. and its not like im loaded with work, because i am honestly not. bad marco, bad! with this link, i guess its a good way of keeping in touch. look, you can right comments on this thingy. (see below).
today in italian class i said the word "recognization". its not a word. the correct word is recognition. enjoy the blog ladies and gentlement...welcome to the rest of your life...

hmmm, this weekend:
friday:
went out to dinner with some phidel brothers to hooters in downtown. it was a good time. the brothers are awesome, and im good friends with alot of them. as for the question alex is asking...i still don't know yet, i'm considering it, but i'd probably stay in housing. after that, back to mp to do nothing. then we got some party addresses. erika and I rounded up about 15 people from rickert and 12 or so phidel brothers to go to a party on 52nd & University. we got there. no party. bad. we then decided we'd go to a party on 57th & kimbark. it was killed by the time we got there. so it was a nite of walking around and doing nothing.
saturday:
during the day i did nothing, which is very typical of the day. i went downtown for a short while, nothing special. then at nite, hit up the party circuit with phil/rico/erika. first stop was 52nd & university, the same party that didn't exist last night. it was a pretty packed party packed. was there for an hour or so, when me/anita/phil/rico/some other people left it behind to check out the part at PyK. it was a fun party. there for about an hour or so. we were gonna call it a nite, but while anita/me were walking back, we heard loud music (i think it was madonna) blasting from a window and we saw people (some we knew) dancing. we decided to intrude on this party. we were there for about 30 minutes. we really know anyone there, so we had some fun dry sex dancing. it was cool. turns out it was the cast party for the cast of the school's production of little shop of horrors (that explained the madonna music). it was chill. then got back to the dorms at 4ish. went to sleep by 6.
sunday:
woke up early at around 12.30pm. brunch. read a little for my paper. chill. dinner. lauara and i chilled at the a level and tortured chrisitian teenagers in a chat room. in my room. now. nite.

tomorrow it is going to be 63°F. yes, that's right, six and three. yahoo!!!
random...
...tomorrow the brothers of phi-del are taking me out to dinner. they are trying to convince me to pledge for the spring. i never had any intention of pledging to a fratnerity whatsoever before today, but now i am minutely considering it. they'll have to do a lot of convincing, but they are really cool guys.
...erika and i had a two minute discussion today regarding my and her "slutiness". we concluded nothing about her, but concluded that i am not in fact a slut, just easy. the deciding factor is that while both a slut and an easy are easy, a slut is very open about thier "last fling". an easy is not. i strongly believe that who i hook up with, when, etc., etc. is the business solely of me and that girl, and nobody else. she isnt someone to brag about the next day, which is why the names of every girl i've hooked up with here are known only by me, though, i will give la mia amica erika credit: she knows how to figure them out very easily.
...my concept of the "realm of attractiveness" is really developing into something. it has gone from something that is purely shallow to something that is still shallow when used as a "realm of attractiveness", but not when used as another realm. it is the basic concept that within each "realm" (attractiveness, intellegentness, etc., etc.) there are two thresholds. there are those below, in between, and above. those below and above are stuck within thier realms, but those in between are in limbo, and thier realm can only be determined by those they hang out with who are in a definite realm.
...the cashier at barlett who calls me "pretty eyes" was there again. she's awesome.
...i am running out of bartlett points, though thanks to same really nice friends (thanks mary and julia and rachel and dan) i've been able to survive no problems.
...i want some of my friends to come visit me.
....i have 15 friends at washU in st. louis
...perche no ho empesato il mio reazione?
...the end.

weekend in review...
friday: went to the movies with eriKa. we saw euroTrip. it was surpsiringly very good and funny. i enjoyed it a lot. i liked it. it was good. it was funny. i laughed, especially at the the little german boy immitating hitler's march. it was funny. it was good. i liked. though it was so fake (the kid leaves for europe and his parents never realized it? i don't think so. not even americans are that stupid). the best part is the sountrack, which i actually bought the next day (scotty doesn't know...lalalala...right behind you thursting...lalalala). there was nothing going on party-wise, so it was a night after that, for the most part.
saturday: woke up early, 11amish, because me and alex were going downtown (which is something nobody else seems to enjoy but us). went to eat at bartlett (french fries and pepsi, a healthy breakfast) to go downtown. we got on the 55 bus, using are magical chicago card pluses, and then the red line (Again, with the CCP). first stop was carson prieir scott, a store that is obviously boring, but alex wanted to buy a new book bag, so she bought one from gucci. then we went to other stores like nordstrom's. i was at nordstrom's and then i called sinem to find out someting and it turned out she like 100 feet away from me in the same place. whacked. after that i went to emporio armani bought amanda birthday present. then i made alex come to the LEGO store with me. we were there for about an hour. i spelled out "ich möchte LEGO" (I would like LEGO, because i wanted to use an umlated U, and "i like LEGO" would be "ich mag LEGO"). alex then said "shouldnt it be LEGOs?" and i bitched her out, explaining how the plural of LEGO is NEVER LEGOs. it is always either LEGO or LEGO Bricks. then went to the other normal stores to find ways to spend my parents money...abercrombie, bloomingdales, diesel, urban outiftters, mcdonald's (FOR GOOD FOOD!) and at urban i got a shirt that says "Tijuana: City of Tomorrow". it is ironic (or is it not, alex?). then we got back. we had max palevsky olympics to go to. i ran the the track in approx. 33 seconds. that was fast. it didnt count for anything. i mostly helped run our "sporintg" even booth, though i spent most of the time getting high off whip cream bottles. then after that i went with phil and rico and others to the fiji party. it was supposed to be a good party, fiji parties are ALWAYS good. but it was borken up by the cops. that never happens, with the one excpetion: if there are too many non-uChi students. this saturday evening there were a little to many hot...err...i mean high school girls, so it was shut down by 1.30am. what to do? well, we went to graham house. then some people went back. then some other people, including me, went to dunkin dounts. then me/phil/dc went to pierce saw ceyda/anita/girl then me/phil went back at 4.30am and went to sleep.
sunday: what a beautiful day. too bad i woke up for it at 1.47pm. went to alex's room, was like "lets go outside". she was like "im down yo!". i wanted to skateboard, but, to my avail, there was no skateboard available at this moment. walked around outside, got a bagel at einsteins, and we walked around...stopped at borders...alex's pink bouncy ball bounced into a busy street. somehow, i dont how (well, i do, actually) we (more me than Alex) recovered it....also walked all the way to the point. it was a gorgeous day...61 degrees F. it was awesome. alex allitereated (and I quote) that "luscious days long for leap years" she went on to explain how because it is a leap year, the day was not supposed to exist, so, therefore, it is a non-existant way in whihc the weather was gorgeous. i wore jeans, sandals, and a t-shirt. and then, at just about midnight, it started to rain. go alex. then we went back, got some bartlett-to-go, and watched the oscars with about 20 others in the house lounge.
now its bed time...
